Workshop Tips

Check engine light on? What it could mean.

The check-engine light is your car’s way of saying something needs attention. It can be minor — like a loose fuel cap — or a sign of a developing fault.

Don’t ignore it

A steady light usually means it’s safe to keep driving carefully to the workshop. A flashing light means stop soon — it often signals a misfire that can damage the catalytic converter.

A proper diagnostic scan reads the fault codes and points us to the real cause, so you only pay for the work that’s actually needed.
